GOLDBERG & CONNOLLY PARTICIPATE IN TENTH ANNUAL GEORGE A. FOX CONFERENCE AT THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK

NEW YORK-January 31, 2011-Goldberg & Connolly participated as a sponsor at the Tenth
Annual George A. Fox Conference: Drill and Blast Excavation: Experience and Advances
on
January 25, 2011. The Conference took place at the Graduate Center at the City University of
New York at 365 East Fifth Avenue in New York City.

Participants were offered seven continuing education credits for presentations held throughout
the day. The keynote speaker was Victor A. Sterner, Blast Consultant, Austin Powder Company.
The Conference was presented by The Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration, Inc.
Mr. Fox, who passed away in 2001, was a giant in the construction industry as a leading
engineer working on New York City's most prestigious public works projects including the 60‐
mile water tunnel hundreds of feet beneath the city. Mr. Fox was additionally the CEO of the
Grow Tunneling Corporation.

Goldberg & Connolly is a recognized authority in the construction industry and is often at the
