HENRY GOLDBERG OF GOLDBERG & CONNOLLY MODERATES 2011 M/WBE FORUM ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15, 2011 NEW

NEW YORK-June 21, 2011-Goldberg & Connolly announced today that Managing Partner, Henry Goldberg, served as the moderator for the 2011 BTEA M/WBE Forum. The forum was held onWednesday, June 15, 2011 at First American Title Insurance of New York. The program highlighted business opportunities for minority and women‐owned businesses in the construction industry and discussed how to overcome the challenges that MWBE firms often face.

The forum panel included Rucklin Drummond, President of Fervent Electrical Corp., Flora Ramos, Director of Community Relations for Tishman Construction Corporation, Anne Rascon, Deputy Commissioner of the Division of Economic & Financial Opportunity and Sandra Wilkin, President of Bradford Construction Corp. of New York.

The panelists discussed bidding success stories as well as advice for M/WBE firms on how to obtain work. Participants learned about the value of joint‐venture partnerships, mentorprotégé agreements, gaining access to the capital and credit needed to bid on larger projects and finance work; and becoming real competitors for development projects of all sizes.
