HENRY L. GOLDBERG OF GOLDBERG & CONNOLLY NAMED EDITOR‐IN‐CHIEF OF MATTHEW BENDER'S FEDERAL CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

NEW YORK-September 30, 2010-Henry L. Goldberg, Managing Partner of Goldberg &
Connolly
, has been named Editor‐In‐Chief of the venerable three‐volume treatise Federal
Contract Management
published by Matthew Bender.

Federal Contract Management
covers all major aspects of contracting with the federal
government. It has long been noted for its extremely practical approach to government
contracting and is targeted to the contract professional, not necessarily a government contract
attorney. It is a handy, practical desk set and provides a ready contracting reference guide.
The treatise covers all topics necessary for successful federal contracting including, among
others, the authority of the contracting officer, contract procurement, including both IFB's and
negotiated procurement, the preparation, submission and evaluation of proposals, cost
recovery and payment, contract changes, social policy considerations and DBE requirements,
disputes and claims, damage calculations, terminations for cause and for convenience and
control of contract performance by the federal government.

Federal Contract Management was previously edited by Norman A. Steiger, Esq., former
Chairman of the Legal and Special Tasks Subcommittee of the National Security Industrial
Association.

Mr. Goldberg is a prominent authority in construction law and government contracting. He is a
long standing member of several federal contracting groups and associations including the
National Contract Management Association ("NCMA"), the National Defense Industry
Association ("NDIA"), The Federal Highway Committee of the Association of General
Contractors ("AGC"), and the American Bar Associations Public Contract Law Committee.
