Henry L. Goldberg, Managing Partner of Goldberg & Connolly, to Moderate AGC New York Panel on Construction Risk Management Essentials & the Changing Insurance Market

May 22, 2013 - Goldberg & Connolly is pleased to announce that the firm, along with the Associated General Contractors of New York State, LLC (AGC NYS), will present a panel discussion entitled,Construction Risk Management Essentials and the Changing Insurance Market. The event will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Cornell Club, located at 6 East 44th Street in New York City.

Panelists will share insights regarding effective strategies for structuring insurance programs that meet specific business requirements, as well as the importance of reviewing each contract's insurance requirements. Topics covered will also include, recent legal decisions and Labor Law §240 compliance; insurance coverage of "Upstream Parties"; horizontal and vertical exhaustion; and steps contractors and construction managers can take to mitigate construction insurance challenges.

The breakfast program will address the major factors in the insurance market that are driving up costs for the contractor community. The event will feature a panel discussion addressing the most problematic insurance issues facing contractors today, as well as recent changes in the industry, such as higher primary liability limit requirements.

The panel will be moderated by Goldberg & Connolly's Managing Partner, Henry L. Goldberg, Esq. Panelists will include Mitchell B.
